FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol — an open standard for connecting an AI assistant directly to a real data source, instead of you copy-pasting context into it by hand. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and a growing list of other tools all speak it the same way, so one connection works everywhere.
What can it actually read?
Your notes — title, candidate, role, summary, key points and action items — the full call transcript, the scorecard where one exists, and role names. Across every workspace you're a member of, exactly like the app itself shows you.
Can it change anything in Candit?
No. There is no write path — nothing exposed over MCP can create, edit, or delete a note, a role, or anything else. It only ever answers questions about data that already exists.
How do I connect it?
In whatever tool you're connecting (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…), add a custom or remote MCP server and paste the URL below. It'll open a Candit sign-in and a one-time approval screen — after that, just ask.
How do I revoke access?
Settings → Connectors → MCP, any time. Revoking takes effect immediately, not after whatever session the connected app happens to be mid-way through.
Does this cost anything extra?
No — it's included on every plan, same access you already have in the app, just reachable from wherever you're already working.
