Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CanditAI (“we,” “us,” “our”), and any related applications, services and websites owned by CanditAI, including but not limited to app.candit.co and candit.co (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
“Account” – a registered user account created to access the Services.
“Business User” – any individual or entity accessing or using the Services on behalf of a company, recruitment agency, employer, or other organization, including users of CanditAI for Business.
“Candidate” – any individual who receives an Invite from a Business User to access CanditAI and generate interview preparation or related content.
“Credits” – virtual usage units allocated to an Account through subscription plans or other authorized means, required to access certain features.
“Credit Pool” – the aggregate number of Credits held by a Business User for use across multiple Candidates.
“Invite” – an invitation sent by a Business User to a Candidate, which allows the Candidate to access CanditAI using the Business User’s Credit Pool.
“Personal User” – an individual using the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
“Prep” – any interview preparation, job-related analysis, CV review, practice materials, or other AI-generated content produced by the Services.
“Services” – all CanditAI products and offerings, including the CanditAI web application (app.candit.co), the public website (candit.co), CanditAI for Business, AI-generated content, subscription plans, credit systems, APIs, integrations, and future features.
“Subscription” – a recurring or one-time paid plan that grants access to certain Services, Credits, or features as displayed within the Web App.
“Subscription Page” – the subscription and billing interface within the CanditAI Web App, which displays the authoritative and most up-to-date information regarding pricing, Credits, plan features, and entitlements.
“Web App” – the CanditAI application accessible at app.candit.co, which governs account usage, billing, Credits, and feature availability.
“You” or “User” – any individual or entity accessing or using the Services, including Personal Users and Business Users.
“Terms” – these Terms of Service, including any updates or modifications.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By creating an Account or using the Services, You represent and warrant that You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and, if acting on behalf of a Business User, that You have authority to bind that entity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your Account credentials and for all activity that occurs under Your Account.
3.2 Permitted Use
The Services may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Permitted uses:
• Personal Users: interview preparation and related content.
• Business Users: candidate preparation, recruitment support, and internal hiring workflows.
Prohibited uses:
• violating laws or regulations, or the rights of others;
• reverse engineering or scraping the Services;
• circumventing usage limits or billing;
• distributing harmful content or spam.
3.3 AI-Generated Content
Preps and other outputs are AI-generated for informational purposes.
CanditAI does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview success, or accuracy.
Users are solely responsible for how they use generated content.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Subscription Plans
Subscription details — including pricing, Credits, features, and entitlements — are authoritative on the Subscription Page in the Web App. Any reference outside the Web App, including marketing materials or emails, is for informational purposes only.
4.2 Billing and Renewal
By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with the Web App.
You are responsible for all fees and applicable taxes associated with your Subscription.
4.3 Subscription Changes
Upgrades, downgrades, and other changes can be made through the Web App. Adjustments take effect according to the rules displayed there.
4.4 Cancellations
All subscription fees and purchased Credits are non-refundable.
This applies to both Personal and Business Users. Premium access allows immediate generation and visibility of Preps, which constitutes full consumption of the Services.
5. Credits and Usage
5.1 Personal Users
Preps and other premium features consume Credits as defined in the Web App.
Once used, Credits cannot be reclaimed.
5.2 Business Users
• Business Users manage a Credit Pool for sending Invites to Candidates.
• Each accepted Invite consumes one Credit.
• Cancelled Invites may return Credits, subject to system rules.
• Abuse of Credits, Invites or Unusual an Rate of Cancellations may result in suspension or termination.
5.3 Credit Rules
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Allocation and usage rules are defined exclusively by the Subscription Page.
• The backend enforces usage according to these rules.
• Unused credits to not accrue upon subscription renewal.
Suspension and Termination
CanditAI may suspend or terminate Accounts for:
violation of Terms;
misuse of Credits/Invites;
fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful behavior; or
risk to Services or Users.
Upon termination, all unused Credits are forfeited. No refunds are issued.
Warranties, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
7.1 Intellectual Property
CanditAI retains all rights to software, features, trademarks, content, and documentation.
Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Services.
7.2 Warranties and Disclaimers
Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
CanditAI makes no implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.
7.3 Limitation of Liability
CanditAI is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 3 months.
7.4 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of CanditAI’s principal jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in its courts.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
